The facilities located at the RDMES site in Rosehill Victoria Park are now available for hire in connection with birthday parties and other private functions.

Access to the Site.

Free car parking.

Hire of the engine(s) and carriages.

    Either “Green dragon”, petrol hydraulic loco

    Or “Victoria Rose” steam locomotive

    Or Both

Provision of staff to operate the trains.

Provision of tables and chairs.

Provision of Gazebo.

Customer to provide all food and drink.

Prices for a 2 hour hire are as follows:

Petrol Hydraulic Loco and carriages    - £60

"Wren" Steam Loco and carriages      - £70

Both Locos and two sets of carriages - £80

1.    A non refundable deposit of £30 per booking is required. ( see note 5 below )
2.    Balance to be paid on the day.
3.    A minimum of 1 adult for every 6 children with an absolute minimum of 2 adults.
4.    Acceptance of this booking is on the understanding that the children obey any instructions given to them by the operating staff at all times. This is especially important when riding on the trains or in their vicinity. We would expect the adults in the party to keep their party in order at all times.
5.    In the event of inclement weather we will still operate unless cancelled by the customer. If the customer cancels due to inclement weather or illness we would require to be notified at least 3 hours prior to the booked start time. Provided we receive this cancellation in time we would accept an alternative date and/or time provided that the new date is within 14 days of the original date, in which case the deposit would not be forfeited.
