Graves Park

2010 - Another successful day was held at Graves Park in Sheffield on the 3rd May 2010 when 665 passengers were carried.2011 - Another successful day at the Graves Park "Highland Fling Event" held on the 3rd May when 576 passengers were carried. There is a downward trend though possibly a sign of the times.2012 - Event was cancelled due to the proceding wet weather making the ground unsuitable.

Weston Park

2010 - A very successful day was had a Weston Park in Sheffield on the 23rd May 2010 when 749 passengers were carried.2011 - Another successful day at Weston Park for the "Victorian Fun Day" held on the 22nd May when 596 passengers were carried. Again a downward trend.2012 - "Victorian Fun Day" A successful day when 703 passengers were carried a marked improvement on the previous year.

Botanical Gardens

2010 - Due to heavy snow the 2010 event had to be cancelled.2011 - "Festival of Lights". Attended on three consecutive days from the 16th to 18th December, bought in by Sheffield City Council. Problems on all three days trying to keep a stable track. Discussed with representatives of Sheffield CC to a view that we must have a better site in 2012, to which they agreed and would look into it.2012 - Due to financial restraints no "Festival of Lights" a blow to our finances.

2012 - The Societies Wren was run on our portable track in Millenium Square, Sheffield, on the 18th November 2012, during the switch on of the Xmas Lights. A total of 1024 passengers were carried which is a record for one day. This event compensated for the loss of the Botanical Gardens Event not run this year by Sheffield CC. Thanks to everyone that helped to make the event a great success.
